Colonel Edward Jay Allen

I’m including all sorts of links that direct you to Colonel Allen’s notes and diaries from his time and his Letters from the Oregon Trail and some poems of his as a Veteran. It’s part of a larger collection from the Hervey Allen Papers. Be warned about reading older written works when it comes to offensive language though.

Here are parts of the collection I found interesting as well as his Wikipedia for easy catching up.
