When I was first given this digital copy. It sat in my inbox for a week. I had just lurched from one demanding event to the next in my life. The gravity wells of life keeping me my attention in high demand.
There was a lull in the chaos.

Mr. Goodyear seamlessly tells the story of President Garfield’s life. From a log cabin in the wilderness to the White House with what seems like a first hand source at every turn. The narrative is extremely well written and he does a excellent job telling this his story.
